About Active in the Community CIC

Active in the Community is a not for profit organisation that focuses on making our activity programmes and our community facilities "Affordable and Accessible". Everything we do is to try and help get our communities moving more and building a network of people to inspire each generation to be more active and we are looking for more casual staff, part time staff and full time staff to join us as we grow. Having been just 4 staff in 2020, we are now nearly 50 staff and growing so now is the perfect time to join our team. We can help support you in your personal and professional development, giving you a great understanding of different areas of the industry including; facility management, marketing, sports development, public health project management and sports coaching. In addition to the job roles you see advertised, we also offer Level 2 apprenticeships, BSc(Hons) Degree apprenticeships and Management training to provide the best pathway to progression possible.
