ABACO S.p.A., with its registered office in Padua and administrative office in Montebelluna (Treviso), is a company that for over 40 years has been operating in services supporting public bodies, mainly Municipalities, including Consortia, Utilities, Unions of Municipalities, and Mountain Communities. Founded in 1969, as of early 2018, it has a structure of 400 employees with integrated skills, serving a client portfolio of over 600 Italian Municipalities, from Bressanone to Brindisi, with more than 4 million inhabitants served through a network of 80 service centers and over 400 local contact points. The areas of activity include the complete management of local taxes (Advertising Tax and Public Affixing, TOSAP/COSAP and daily Waste Tax, IMU/TASI, TARES/TARI), COACTIVE COLLECTION and debt recovery, SMART CITIES and management of paid PARKING, and other services (such as votive lighting, tourist tax, tax and IT consulting). To carry out its activities, ABACO is registered under no. 56 in the Register of entities authorized for the collection, liquidation, and assessment of local taxes and revenues, established at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Furthermore, it holds all major company certifications, including a debt recovery license, the organizational model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, a legality rating, and a Code of Ethics.
