About Ação Social do Paraná

For over 70 years, Ação Social do Paraná (ASP) has been carrying out actions that seek to restore human dignity and full citizenship, while also respecting the environment. Founded on December 13, 1944, ASP is a non-profit organization, a member entity of Cáritas, and active in the areas of Social Assistance, Education, and Food and Nutrition Security. In all its actions, ASP's ultimate goal is social transformation, mobilizing society to achieve a more dignified life for all. Currently, ASP is coordinated by Fr. José Aparecido Pinto, who comments: “Love for our neighbor is what drives our activities, but always following processes and methodologies in all our sectors, thus maintaining the quality standard of Ação Social do Paraná”. In each unit and project maintained, the team of collaborators and volunteers is fully dedicated to the people served.
