Maike Aote Technology Co., Ltd. is a pharmaceutical company with a global vision, dedicated to the research and development of bifunctional and multifunctional specific peptide new molecular entities. Our goal is to become the No.1 in the field of peptide new drug development and the No.1 in innovative cardiovascular drugs. With an innovative drug R&D strategy on a global scale and a mission to 'save lives and alleviate suffering', we are committed to creating first-line rescue and treatment drugs to meet unmet clinical needs. We focus on the R&D of new drugs for life-threatening major diseases such as cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. After several years of development, Maike Aote has established a product chain of 17 new drug candidates, covering five major disease areas: ischemic heart disease, stroke, antithrombotic, nervous system injury and degeneration, and diabetes. Among these, 3 candidates have been selected for the national 'Major New Drug Creation' program, 3 have received approval for clinical research by the China CFDA, and 3 are undergoing preclinical research in the United States. We plan to file for clinical research of new molecular entities with the US FDA for 8 candidates. We have built an industrialization base of pilot scale, including a pilot line for peptide raw material production and purification with capacity over 1Kg, a lyophilized formulation production line capable of pilot research for multiple specifications of lyophilized formulations, and a pilot production line for microsphere-based long-acting sustained-release peptides, allowing for research and development of multiple specifications of microsphere products. We have assembled a global team of over 60 employees and consultants, including more than 20 scientists and clinical experts, with internationally advanced levels in peptide biopharmaceutical development and pilot industrialization. They possess deep scientific knowledge, extensive pharmaceutical experience, and are dedicated to saving the lives of patients with myocardial infarction, stroke, and thromboembolism, and improving their quality of life. The company has established a joint venture with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, continuously ranked among the best in the US for 20 years, for the R&D of new drugs for the nervous system. This collaboration focuses on the R&D of drugs for refractory diseases such as HD, PD, AD, and central nervous system injury. We have successfully screened several effective compounds, which are currently undergoing validation in animal models at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and are expected to enter clinical research soon. We are committed to having offices and facilities in multiple locations worldwide, including a joint research center in Baltimore, USA, an operational department to be established in Boston, USA, as well as an R&D center in Beijing, China, and a production base in Xi'an, China.
