Hibiki Welfare Association was established in 1977 (Showa 52) as the Hibiki Community Workshop, in response to the strong wishes of people with disabilities, their families, and related individuals, to provide them with a place to work. In 1984 (Showa 59), we obtained approval as a social welfare corporation with the aim of enhancing and developing the facility. This was supported by warm regional assistance and a significant movement. We named it "Hibiki" (meaning echo or resonance) with the intention of echoing the desire for a society where people with disabilities can live abundantly, in line with the achievements of our accumulated efforts and practices. By ensuring a workplace and a working community, individuals can work with resilience and participate in the local community, fostering a sense of joy in work.
