Semiconductor Global Solutions (SGS) was founded in March 2018. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture jointly invested by China's large integrated circuit manufacturing enterprise SMIC, the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund's subsidiary Xinxin Financial Leasing, Ningbo Xinkongjian, and Korea's TRIPLECORES. The company is headquartered in Ningbo, Zhejiang, and is currently developing and constructing a 100,000-square-meter semiconductor intelligent equipment industrial park in Yinzhou District. The first phase of the office, R&D, and manufacturing base is scheduled for completion and occupancy in early 2021. The company also has subsidiaries in Shanghai Pudong and South Korea. In June 2020, Shanghai Juyuan Juxin Investment Fund and Shanghai New Yang Semiconductor Materials also joined the company's shareholder ranks. The current registered capital exceeds US$32 million. The company focuses on building a semiconductor equipment R&D service platform, mainly engaged in three major business segments: upgrading and optimizing semiconductor equipment, developing new machines, and repair and service.
