The Huzhou Institution (HI) of Zhejiang University (ZJU) is a research institution co-established by Zhejiang University and the Huzhou Municipal People's government. Huzhou is a central city in the Yangtze River Delta and one of the central cities of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, adjacent to Hangzhou and Jiaxing, and sharing Taihu Lake with Suzhou and Wuxi. The HI focuses on innovative R&D in fields such as smart healthcare, next-generation information technology, advanced electronic technology, smart IoT, and industrial intelligent automation. It explores new ways to cultivate high-end talent, nurtures top innovative talent, and fosters emerging technology companies. Employees will work with leading domestic and international experts in a competitive salary environment with a youthful team atmosphere. The Institute, established in 2020, is an R&D intensive institution located in the southern part of Lake-Tai, a top tourist attraction in Huzhou. Its R&D emphasis includes industrial automation, robotics, sensing, industrial internet, and smart cities. The Institute's mission is Innovation & Connection, building a strong bridge between ZJU and industrial technology applications.
