A bag born and living with the warmth of human hands. We started in 1965 by making randoseru (school backpacks). A bag that supports children's six years of school life. Tsuchiya Kaban always thinks about memories being imbued in them. For that purpose, they must be durable. They must have a design that suits the owner even as time passes. With this idea in mind, we started making bags for adults. Not just a bag that functions as a bag, but something that can be by your side as a vessel for memories for a long time. And if it can become an indispensable part of your life as you use it. With that wish, we make each one carefully, by hand. We pour our thoughts into high-quality leather materials and handcraftsmanship. We deliver Made in Japan from our workshops. What began as Tsuchiya Kaban Seizosho, a small randoseru workshop, now engages in integrated manufacturing from product planning to sales. In that process, we have gradually welcomed new colleagues and workshops that share our vision, and together we strive to improve quality.
