Founded in 1885 (Meiji 18) as Japan's oldest purely privately-owned railway company, we operate transportation services connecting Namba in Osaka, Wakayama City, Koyasan, and Kansai International Airport. We also engage in real estate, retail, and leisure businesses, developing multifaceted operations as a "comprehensive lifestyle company creating tomorrow." Transportation: Our core routes are the Nankai Main Line, connecting Osaka's Namba Station to cities along Osaka Bay and Wakayama, and the Koya Line, connecting Sakai and Kawachi regions to the World Heritage site of Koyasan. The Airport Line provides access to Kansai International Airport, and through reciprocal operations with Semboku Rapid Railway, we also serve the Semboku New Town, home to approximately 120,000 residents. Including our group companies, we have established a broad transportation network centered in southern Osaka through our comprehensive system of railways, buses, and ferries. Real Estate: We have been involved in residential development along our lines since before the war, undertaking large-scale projects such as "Nankai Hashimoto Ringan Den'en Toshi" and "Nankai Kumatori Tsubasagaoka" to contribute to the development of the areas we serve. We also manage commercial and office buildings, condominiums, railway overpass facilities, and parking lots, primarily at major terminal stations such as "Nankai Building" at the gateway to Namba, "Kino Wakayama" (opened 2020), and "Namba Parks South" (opened 2023), driving diverse business expansion. Retail: Through the redevelopment of the Namba area, we have created shopping centers like "Namba Parks" and "Namba EKIKAN," as well as in-station retail facilities such as "ekimo" and "N.KLASS" at major terminals, responding to the diverse and evolving needs of our customers. Our group companies also operate restaurants, station kiosks, and convenience stores, striving to enhance the value of the areas we serve across the entire Nankai Group. Leisure: Our group companies primarily manage golf courses, accommodations, boat racing facilities, and travel services. Leveraging our unique position along scenic routes, we aim to provide joy, inspiration, and relaxation to our customers.
