The Yamato Clinic was featured on "Gaia no Yoake" on June 9, 2020. Previously featured on "Cambria Palace," the Yamato Clinic is now a media focus. We plan to open the "Ouchini Kaerou. Hospital" in April 2021. We are looking for colleagues to build this from scratch! With the philosophy of "Creating a society where people can die in their own homes with dignity," we provide home-based medical care (visiting care) that allows people to live as they wish. While treatment for illness is naturally the focus in hospitals, our emphasis in home care is on supporting the patient's "life" while they manage their illness. At Yamato, we shift our focus from "illness" to "life," supporting patients in living their lives with dignity. We aim to create a society where everyone can live with dignity until the end by expanding high-quality home care services to address the social issue that an estimated 470,000 people will face difficulties in their final days by 2030. Japan is about to enter an era of high mortality. That is why we are tackling the social challenge of overcoming a high-mortality society by seriously facing what it means to live and die with dignity. To achieve this, we believe the most important thing is to train medical professionals who continue to engage with patients with genuine commitment. We want to further develop home care in Japan. We are gathering colleagues who share this vision to provide better medical care.
