We want to be a hospital that can show the ideal of medicine. Medical Corporation Shinseikai started its business with a local clinic and now, with a hospital of 99 beds as its core organization, it provides integrated medical and nursing care services from prevention to outpatient, inpatient, and home care by developing housing for the elderly, health checkups, clinics, visiting nursing stations, and nursing small-scale multi-purpose homes. Based on the spirit of "self-benefit and benefiting others," with the aim of "alleviating suffering and bestowing joy," we practice medicine with the action guideline of "gentle face and loving words," treating patients with smiles and compassion. The rapidly advancing aging society, the rapidly changing medical insurance system, and ethical issues in life-sustaining treatment and advanced medical technology are all major societal shifts. In such circumstances, what should hospitals and medical professionals do, and how should they be? We will continue to consider this with all our staff and pursue our ideals by transforming our organization.
