The purpose of the Omoto Kai Group is to 'create a healthy society.' Not only doctors and nurses, but also administrative staff will work together to achieve this purpose. The history of the Omoto Kai Group began in 1959 with the establishment of Ohamah Geika Clinic by one doctor and three nurses. We will celebrate our 63rd anniversary in 2022. Starting with 4 people, 1 facility, and 17 beds, the Omoto Kai Group has grown into one of Okinawa Prefecture's leading comprehensive healthcare groups, involved in medical care, health, welfare, and education, supported by the local community, with 56 facilities, 901 beds, and over 2,000 staff members. In the medical field, we operate two hospitals and one clinic that handle regional acute and chronic care. In the health field, we operate two long-term care health facilities to help patients who have stabilized from acute treatment transition smoothly back to their homes. In the welfare field, we operate 47 facilities, including two special nursing homes for the elderly, as well as home-visit medical care, home-visit nursing care, and home-visit rehabilitation services. For human resource development, we operate Okinawa Nursing College, a nursing school, and Okinawa Rehabilitation Welfare College, which trains physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language-hearing therapists, and certified care workers. Our business, the Omoto Kai Group, is to provide seamless 'housing, medical care, nursing care, prevention, and daily living support' to enable people to continue living their lives as they wish in their communities until the end of their lives, embodying the 'Community-based Integrated Care System.'
